Dignified Changes began as a grassroots movement to advocate for privacy, dignity, and accessibility through universal changing tables for individuals with disabilities and high support needs.
Today, that work continues through Raising Voices Foundation as we expand access, inclusion, and community connection.
It started with a need.
It became a movement.
In 2019, two moms saw a heartbreaking reality.
Families were being forced to change their loved ones on dirty bathroom floors, park benches, and inside vehicles because there was nowhere safe, private, or dignified to meet essential care needs.
For too many families, something as simple as attending a community event, going to a park, or traveling came with impossible choices.
Leave early.
Stay home.
Or compromise dignity.
We believed no family should have to make that choice.
So caregivers, advocates, and community leaders came together to raise awareness, advocate for change, and push for more inclusive public spaces.
After years of advocacy, education, and community support, Dignified Changes helped spark real conversations and real change around accessibility in Arizona and beyond.
Dignified Changes was born, and a movement began.
Why This Matters
When there is no safe, private place to meet essential care needs, families are often forced to leave events early, stay home, or navigate impossible situations in public.
Communities are strongest when everyone belongs.
Participation
Access should never be the reason someone cannot participate in community life.
Dignity
Every individual deserves privacy, dignity, and respect.

What is a Universal Changing Table?
A universal changing table is an adult-sized changing table designed to safely support individuals who need assistance with personal care.
These accommodations provide caregivers with a safe, private, and dignified way to support loved ones outside of infancy and early childhood.
It supports
